Sweet Lou’s is a whole-animal butcher shop and deli located in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. We partner with local farms that prioritize humane animal treatment and sustainable farming practices that reduce their environmental impact. As we work to connect our communities to local farms, producers, and one another, we’re building a stronger local economy and increasing food security. And, most importantly, we’re helping you put REALLY GOOD MEAT on your table.

What makes it really good meat?
We put the animals first.
We start with well-raised animals. The quality of the final product begins with how animals are raised and cared for. We work with farmers who take that seriously and who share our standards.
We keep it local.
We keep it close to home and prioritize Minnesota and Midwestern farms, makers, and producers whenever possible. Better sourcing and shorter supply chains make a difference.
We are passionate.
We also do the work right. Good meat doesn’t happen by accident. It takes skill, consistency, and attention to detail every step of the way. That is the standard we hold ourselves to every day.
We have a full coffee bar and deli counter that is open until 3 p.m. If you come in after 3 p.m., we won’t be able to make you anything to order. BUT! Fret not! We have a grab-and-go for you to choose from.
The contents of this case rotate regularly. Feel free to contact us before you come in, and we can let you know what we have.
We have limited in-house seating but would love for you to stay and enjoy your food if you have time.
